Emotional Support
Our counsellors and student counsellors are here to help you cope with the emotional impact of living with a life-limiting or terminal condition.
Spiritual Care
Supporting those of all faiths and none, helping people who are living with a life-limiting or terminal condition or facing death to reflect and explore questions about life.
Welfare Advice
Our Welfare Advisor can give advice and support to you and your family on financial and practical issues you may face.
Wellbeing Sessions
Open to all those we care for, their families, and carers, our wellbeing sessions can support you to live well.
From fitness and breathlessness, to reflection and relaxation, we have a range of wellbeing sessions designed to support you. We have both online and in-person wellbeing sessions delivered by our Wellbeing Team, specially trained volunteers, and trusted partners at the hospice or in your local area.

Meena said, “I joined in with the class alongside Dilip who always felt much better after the exercise.” It was the couple’s first time at our hospice, but Meena added, “The hospitality St Catherine’s offers is the best! We were always welcomed so nicely, and it made us feel part of the system. Everyone has been so helpful, and the tea and cake was the cherry on the cake!”

Sleeping Better
Our Therapy Team offer fatigue management and advice on sleep hygiene – how you can sleep better. If you’re struggling to go to sleep and to stay asleep these resources may help you.
The video below, reproduced from the Sleep Council, includes tips on how to prepare for sleep and gives you advice on the things you should avoid as they’re known to prevent sleep.
